The Prose Season is the winter theatrical highlight that the Municipality of Riva del Garda presents every year in its town nestled in the Trentino Upper Garda region, in the province of Trento. A program of eight shows accompanies the audience from November to March, alternating between two fascinating venues: the Sala Garda at the Palazzo dei Congressi and the F.A. Bonporti Conservatory Auditorium.
The festival is designed as a journey through the best of contemporary Italian drama: ranging from satirical monologues to intelligent comedy, and from social reflection to reinterpretations of the great classics. The common thread is the quality of the stagecraft, featuring well-known theatre and television stars alongside more experimental production companies.

The 2025/2026 edition of the Riva del Garda Prose Season presented eight shows, managed by the Municipality of Riva del Garda in collaboration with Trentino Spettacoli. The program ranged from satirical monologues to major social dramas, featuring protagonists such as Veronica Pivetti, Tindaro Granata, Alessandra Faiella, and Andrea Pennacchi.
The performances took place between the Sala Garda at the Palazzo dei Congressi and the F.A. Bonporti Conservatory Auditorium. Subscription sales opened at the end of October 2025 on the trentinospettacoli.it portal.

Location
Performances are held at two venues in the centre of Riva del Garda (TN): the Sala Garda at the Palazzo dei Congressi (numbered seating) and the F.A. Bonporti Conservatory Auditorium (unreserved seating).
Tickets and Subscriptions
Subscriptions and individual tickets can be purchased online via the Trentino Spettacoli portal (trentinospettacoli.it) and at the Cultural Activities Office of the Municipality of Riva del Garda. A season ticket for all eight shows is available, in addition to individual tickets.
Getting There
Riva del Garda can be reached by car via the A22 Brenner motorway (exit Rovereto Sud–Lago di Garda Nord) and by bus using the Trentino Trasporti suburban lines. The Palazzo dei Congressi is located in the city centre, just a short walk from the lakefront.
