The third edition of Portoferraio Mangiami - Street Food Festival was held from Friday, May 29 to Tuesday, June 2, 2026, on Viale delle Ghiaie, behind the beach of the same name in the center of Portoferraio, Elba Island. The event, organized by GNAM Food Event as part of their culinary tour, took advantage of the long June 2nd holiday weekend to offer five days of festivities dedicated to street food.
The stands, open daily for lunch and dinner with continuous service, offered the most beloved dishes of Italian and international street food: from Black Angus burgers to Tuscan schiacciata, from Abruzzese arrosticini to traditional Livornese fish, as well as paella and Mexican specialties, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free options. Notable among the participants was the Tati e Patate dai Biga truck, serving jacket potatoes stuffed on the spot, which is part of the AFC network for those with celiac requirements.
The tastings were accompanied by a wide selection of craft beers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks, along with entertainment featuring live music and DJ sets in the evenings.
