The Polis Jazz Festival is one of the most beloved musical events of the summer in Polizzi Generosa, an ancient village in the Madonie Park in the province of Palermo, Sicily. Created to bring world-class jazz to one of the most fascinating historic centers in the Sicilian hinterland, the festival takes place in the scenic Piazza SS. Trinità, where the audience enjoys concerts under the summer sky, surrounded by historic buildings and the cozy atmosphere of the mountain town.

A festival dedicated to international jazz

Every year, the event offers a program that weaves together internationally renowned artists and groups, emerging talents from the Sicilian scene, and educational projects. Alongside the evening concerts, the festival organizes talks, meetings, and conferences that delve into jazz culture and the connection between music and the local area. Special attention is given to young people, with performances by the Polis Brass Talent, composed of students from the Polis Brass school, who explore jazz, pop, soul, and rhythm and blues alongside their teachers.
