The Campanian pizza village on the Portici seafront
Between late May and early June, the Parco a Mare on the Portici waterfront, in the province of Naples, transforms into a large open-air village entirely dedicated to pizza. Pizza Park—which from the 2026 edition bears the official name Pepsi Pizza Park following the arrival of its title sponsor—was born as a project to promote the Vesuvius territory. In just a few editions, it has become one of the most popular food and wine events of the summer in Campania, attracting tens of thousands of visitors from across the region and beyond.
The formula is simple and effective: eco-friendly wooden stalls lined up along the park, ovens fired up every evening, tables overlooking the sea, and a journey that tells the story of Neapolitan pizza in all its forms. The Municipality of Portici grants its patronage to the event, which is organized by GRVN Company S.r.l. with the organizational support of Erre Erre Eventi ETS.
The heart of the event lies in the eighteen ovens entrusted to as many establishments, chosen among the most representative in Campanian pizza: historic and multi-award-winning names alongside contemporary and gourmet ventures. Among the pizzerias announced for the 2026 edition are:
The provinces represented go beyond Naples: there are establishments from Salerno, Caserta, and the Vesuvius area, allowing visitors to compare vastly different dough styles, baking techniques, and maturation processes in a single evening.
The culinary offering goes well beyond the Margherita. In the village, you will find classic Neapolitan pizza, fried pizza, panuozzi, high-hydration contemporary versions, and gluten-free options. An area is reserved for Neapolitan pastry, featuring five dessert partners and a coffee service: babà, sfogliatelle, and spoon desserts round off the experience.
The supply chain is also part of the narrative, highlighting flours, tomatoes, fiordilatte, and extra virgin olive oil from Campanian producers.
Alongside the ovens, a high-quality cultural program unfolds. The «Pizza is Territory» show cooking format, coordinated by Cristian Cutino, stages a nightly dialogue between pizza makers and agricultural producers, hosted by Stefania Sirignano. This is complemented by the talk area, masterclasses with master pizza makers, live radio broadcasts, and social media streams that extend the audience far beyond the seafront.
Every evening is accompanied by live music and performances, with areas designed for children and families: the village is meant to be explored at a leisurely pace, between one tasting and the next. A portion of the proceeds is donated to the Fondazione Santobono Pausilipon, which supports the Neapolitan pediatric hospital: a detail that gives the festival a social dimension and binds it even closer to the city.
The setting is not secondary. Portici is the gateway to the Golden Mile, the road of 18th-century Vesuvius villas, and is home to the Bourbon Palace, now the seat of the Agricultural Faculty of the University of Naples Federico II. The Parco a Mare, redeveloped in recent years, overlooks the Gulf of Naples just a few steps from the Granatello port: from here, the gaze sweeps from Capri to Vesuvius. Eating a pizza at sunset along this stretch of coast is, in itself, a good reason to head up to Portici.
The 2026 edition extended the event to seven consecutive days, from Thursday, May 28, to Wednesday, June 3, including the June 2nd bank holiday. The village, set up with eco-friendly wooden stalls at the Parco a Mare in Portici, was open every evening from 6:00 PM to midnight with free admission.
The main novelty of the year was the arrival of Pepsi as title sponsor, which gave the festival its official name: Pepsi Pizza Park 2026. The eighteen-oven formula was confirmed, featuring historic Neapolitan establishments alongside contemporary pizzerias from the Salerno, Caserta, and Vesuvius areas, plus a station entirely dedicated to gluten-free options.
Alongside the tastings, the program gave ample space to the story of the Campanian supply chain with the «Pizza is Territory» show cooking, talks with producers and professionals, masterclasses by master pizza makers, and live radio broadcasts from the village.
