The great summer festival of the Romagna Riviera in Cervia and Milano Marittima
The Pink Night is the great collective event that, around the summer solstice, lights up the entire Romagna Riviera. In Cervia, in the heart of the Province of Ravenna (Emilia-Romagna), the event involves the historic center, the canal port, the hamlets of Milano Marittima, Pinarella, and Tagliata, transforming squares, the seafront, and beach establishments into one big open-air festival. The 2026 edition, scheduled from June 19th to 21st, is the 21st in the history of the Pink Night, born in 2006 as the "New Year's Eve of Summer".
The theme chosen for 2026 is "Hit's Summer", with music as the common thread throughout the weekend. In Cervia, the program kicks off on Friday, June 19th in Piazza Garibaldi with a concert by Pranvera Balkan, who bring the electrifying sounds of Balkan music to the stage. Saturday, June 20th is dedicated to art with the AVVERTENZE ARTE AWARD, also in Piazza Garibaldi, while Sunday, June 21st coincides with the Music Festival: in Piazzetta Pisacane, students from the municipal music school "Gioacchino Rossini" perform with a grand piano, while from the evening onwards, Piazza Garibaldi hosts rock and pop bands and ensemble music groups.
The Pink Night in Cervia is not just about music. On the same weekend, the waters off Cervia and Milano Marittima host the Grand Prix Offshore, a round of the powerboat world championship, with races, markets, shows, and entertainment in the Torre San Michele area. Traditionally, the city's symbols are dressed in pink: castles, bridges, towers, and fountains offer splendid light shows, while street artists entertain streets and squares with performances suitable for all ages.
The strength of the Pink Night lies in its widespread and popular nature. In Cervia, the festival embraces the historic center with its salt warehouses, the canal port, and the wide equipped beaches, offering live music, entertainment, dancing, and activities for children. The MUSA - Salt Museum and the Salina Visitor Center offer evening openings, workshops for children, and nature excursions during these days, completing an offer that combines fun, culture, and local identity.
The Pink Night is promoted by APT Servizi and the Emilia-Romagna Region and takes place simultaneously along the entire coast, from Comacchio to Cattolica. In Cervia, organized by the Municipality through the tourism office, it is one of the most anticipated events of early summer, attracting residents and tourists for a weekend of music, color, and celebration by the sea.
The 2026 edition, the 21st Pink Night, enlivens Cervia, Milano Marittima, Pinarella, and Tagliata from June 19th to 21st with the theme "Hit's Summer". The common thread throughout the weekend is music, with free concerts, street shows, and the city illuminated in pink.
