The festival is organized as a distributed route across the main squares of the center, each becoming a small thematic stage. The most involved areas are usually:

• Piazza Colzi, the heart of activities for children and food stalls;
• Piazza XX Settembre, in front of the Town Hall, a space dedicated to exhibitions and art;
• Piazza XXVII Aprile, the site of civic memory, where the Liberation Day commemoration takes place;
• Piazza XVII Aprile and Via Matteotti, enlivened by music and markets.

Between civic memory and popular tradition

The tone of the day shifts naturally between solemn moments and festive cheer. In the morning, the Liberation Day commemoration, with the laying of a laurel wreath at the monument, honors the civic significance of the holiday. Throughout the rest of the day, conviviality and joy take over: recycling and reuse markets, artisan and antique stalls, food stands run by local volunteer associations, vintage motorcycle and Vespa rallies, exhibitions by local painters and artists, and workshops and areas dedicated to children.

Music and art

The festival's soundtrack is provided by live music, featuring performances by local bands and the characteristic traveling concert by the Filarmonica F. Nucci of Ponte Buggianese, which parades through the streets of the center. Among the recurring cultural initiatives, the opening of exhibition routes and art shows stands out, such as the "Arte al Cantiere" exhibition hosted in municipal spaces.

Free and open to all, "Pieve in Festa for April 25th" is promoted by the Municipality of Pieve a Nievole together with numerous local associations.
