The quality floriculture market exhibition at Villa del Colle del Cardinale
The Perugia Flower Show is one of the main market exhibitions for quality floriculture in Central Italy. It takes place in the park and spaces of Villa del Colle del Cardinale, a historic residence on the outskirts of Perugia, and is held in two annual events: the spring edition and the autumn edition.
The event selects over 70 exhibitors among the best Italian nurseries and artisans — such as Vivaio Rose Barni and Vivaio Piante Nardi Marco — who offer collector roses, ornamental trees, grasses, hydrangeas, tropical plants, bonsai, orchids, cacti, and unusual species from around the world. An artisanal section displays jewelry, textiles, vintage items, and home decor.
The program includes free gardening courses dedicated to carnivorous plants, roses, bonsai, succulents, and aromatic herbs, as well as the "SOS Plants" consultancy service, nature photography walks, outdoor pilates sessions, and creative activities for children on the theme of environmental sustainability. There is also a food area with local products, floral cocktails, and vegetarian options. The event confirms itself as an eagerly awaited appointment for enthusiasts and families from Perugia and Umbria.
The 2026 spring edition of the Perugia Flower Show, the nineteenth, took place on May 23 and 24 at Villa del Colle del Cardinale, with over 70 selected exhibitors from the best Italian nurseries and artisans. In autumn, the event will return on September 19 and 20.
Among the offerings: collector roses, ornamental trees, grasses, hydrangeas, tropical plants, bonsai, orchids, cacti, and unusual species, an artisanal section, and a food area with local products and floral cocktails. The program includes free gardening courses, the "SOS Plants" service, photography walks, outdoor pilates, and activities for children on sustainability.
