The great family festival at Parco Tre Castagni in Pergine Valsugana
The Pergine Family Fest is the summer highlight that fills the Parco Tre Castagni in Pergine Valsugana, in the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige, with voices, colors, and joy every June. For an entire day, from 10 am to 6 pm, the vast green space at the foot of the Pergine Castle becomes a large village dedicated to families, where children, parents, and grandparents can play, experiment, and spend time together in the open air.
The park is divided into numerous themed areas, each with its own activities. The heart of the festival is an adventure trail where little ones take on challenges and collect stamps along the way. Among the most popular attractions are:
Throughout the day, there is plenty of live music, including brass band performances and traditional dances, as well as entertainment provided by local associations and youth groups. A spacious food area offers sweet and savory dishes, local specialties, and drinks provided by the Pro Loco, perfect for a family break between games. The simple, participatory format highlights the rich network of local associations in Pergine Valsugana, which contributes volunteers, expertise, and enthusiasm every year.
Organized by the Pro Loco Pergine Valsugana in collaboration with the Municipality of Pergine Valsugana, the Valsugana Tourist Board, and numerous local entities, the Pergine Family Fest is designed as a sustainable, child-friendly event. The setting of Parco Tre Castagni, with its over ten hectares of meadows, paths, and play areas, is the ideal location for an outdoor day that combines fun, nature, and community in one of the most vibrant towns in the Autonomous Province of Trento.
On Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 10 am to 6 pm, the Parco Tre Castagni in Pergine Valsugana hosted a new edition of the Family Fest. The heart of the day was the adventure trail: with a 5-euro badge, children collected stamps by completing various challenges scattered throughout the park.
Activities included: magic shows with Magico Camillo, go-karts and Nerf challenges by Sport Camp Oltrefersina, a mountain bike circuit, a climbing wall and via ferrata among the trees, board games, an agility course, craft workshops, gold panning in the stream, face painting, and balloon sculpting. The program also featured Irish music and dancing in the morning, animated readings in the afternoon, and baby dance sessions. The food area offered tortelli, hot dogs, vegan options, popcorn, and cotton candy.
Parco Tre Castagni is located on Via San Pietro in Pergine Valsugana, at the foot of Pergine Castle. By car, take the Pergine exit from the SS47 Valsugana highway; by train, the Pergine Valsugana station is served by the Trento-Venice line. We recommend reaching the park on foot, as parking is not available near some areas.
The event takes place on a single day in June, from 10 am to 6 pm. Admission to the area is free; some activities and games may require a small registration fee or a low-cost adventure badge. The event may be cancelled in case of bad weather.
