Park of Rock is one of the most anticipated musical events of the Abruzzo summer, held in the evocative Parco dei Mulini in Crecchio, a small village in the province of Chieti, Abruzzo. For three consecutive nights in August, the park transforms into a large open-air stage dedicated to live music, with a packed schedule of completely free concerts.

A festival that has grown year after year

The festival's formula revolves around about fifteen concerts spread over three nights, with bands and artists arriving not only from Abruzzo but from various Italian regions, including Emilia-Romagna, Campania, Umbria, and Tuscany. The project, after an initial pioneering experience, was relaunched in 2023 by the Associazione Parco dei Mulini and has expanded over the years to become a reference point for rock enthusiasts in central Italy. The organization is led by Nicola Santeusanio, Marco Colantuono, and Aurelio D'Alessandro.

The lineup mixes emerging acts with major guests from the national alternative scene. Throughout its editions, Park of Rock has brought prominent artists of Italian rock to the Parco dei Mulini stage, offering the public a range that spans from high-energy rock to indie, punk, and singer-songwriter music.
