Park Art Fest (PAF)

A festival in the greenery of Carini

The Park Art Fest, known to all as PAF, is a multidisciplinary event held every September at the Almoad City Park on Via Rovigo in Carini, in the province of Palermo. The event transforms one of the Sicilian town's main green lungs into a large entertainment village, featuring a central stage for concerts, street food areas, spaces for children, and stands dedicated to local craftsmanship.

A multidisciplinary formula

The PAF is more than just music; it is a collection of experiences designed for all ages. Over the years, the program has featured evening concerts by tribute bands and Sicilian groups, afternoon sports tournaments, performances by local dance schools, science and cooking workshops for children, live painting sessions, craft markets, and a rich selection of Sicilian and international street food. The free-admission format has made it a popular family-friendly event, attracting hundreds of visitors each evening.

The editions

The first edition was held in 2022, featuring four nights of tribute bands dedicated to Pino Daniele, Duran Duran, U2, and Vasco Rossi. The festival has grown over the years: the 2024 edition featured tributes to Queen, Negramaro, and Måneskin alongside cooking workshops for children, while the fourth edition in 2025 chose the theme "The world in the park", expanding the offerings with volleyball tournaments, local dance schools, Sicilian musical groups, and a grand finale featuring cabaret.

Solidarity and the local area

From its inception, the Park Art Fest has combined entertainment with social commitment. Several editions have donated a portion of the proceeds and collections to local charitable initiatives, ranging from the pediatric hospital in Palermo to local associations supporting young people with disabilities. Organized by the Almoad Cultural Association in collaboration with the PassioneSicilia agency, the festival serves as an example of how culture and entertainment can enhance public spaces in the Municipality of Carini and strengthen the sense of community.
