Palermo Live - The Great Summer
Palermo Live - The Great Summer is the summer festival that brings together the major concerts and live performances of the Sicilian capital under a single banner. Coordinated by the Municipality of Palermo in partnership with the Metropolitan City and a collective of promoters from Assoconcerti and Assomusica, the program spans over three months, from June to September, and distributes the evenings across three historic venues in the Sicily Region.
Three unique venues
The heart of the festival is the Teatro di Verdura (Viale del Fante), a stunning open-air theater nestled in the greenery of Villa Castelnuovo, which hosts the majority of the events, featuring over forty evenings of pop music, singer-songwriters, and theater. The Velodromo Paolo Borsellino hosts major urban and pop live shows capable of drawing thousands of spectators, while the Ippodromo La Favorita is reserved for larger-scale events.
A lineup spanning pop, urban, and tradition
The program features the most beloved names from the Italian and international scenes. The stage of the Teatro di Verdura hosts artists such as Gianni Morandi, Emma, Arisa, Pooh, Loredana Bertè, Nino D'Angelo, Raf, Luca Carboni, Angelina Mango, Madame, and Coez, alongside a long residency of the musical Notre Dame de Paris. The Velodromo is the realm of urban live shows, featuring stars like Sfera Ebbasta, Salmo, Caparezza, Negramaro, Modà , Capo Plaza, and Alfa.
The Jova Summer Party
The highlight of the summer is Jovanotti's Jova Summer Party, scheduled at the Ippodromo La Favorita: a mega-event that closes the Palermo musical season in style, attracting audiences from all over Sicily and beyond.

The 2026 edition of Palermo Live - The Great Summer runs from June 15 to September 19 with one of the richest programs in Southern Italy. The Teatro di Verdura hosts over forty evenings, while the Velodromo Paolo Borsellino and the Ippodromo La Favorita host the major mass events.
Announced headliners at the Teatro di Verdura include Gianni Morandi, Emma, Arisa, Pooh, Loredana Bertè, Nino D'Angelo, Raf, Luca Carboni, Angelina Mango, Madame, Coez, Serena Brancale, Angelo Branduardi, Francesco Renga, Enrico Nigiotti, and Tony Hadley, in addition to the residency of the musical Notre Dame de Paris from August 24 to September 6. The Velodromo will feature performances by Sfera Ebbasta, Salmo, Caparezza, Negramaro, Modà , ANNA, Alfa, Luchè, Capo Plaza, and Tony Boy.
The most anticipated moment is Jovanotti's Jova Summer Party at the Ippodromo La Favorita, scheduled for August 29 and 30.

Practical information — Palermo Live
Getting there
The Teatro di Verdura is located at Viale del Fante 39, in the northern part of Palermo, and can be reached by car, taxi, or local bus lines. The Velodromo Paolo Borsellino is at Via Renato Guttuso 12, while the Ippodromo La Favorita is located inside the Parco della Favorita. Visitors arriving from outside the city can use the Falcone-Borsellino Airport in Punta Raisi (connected to the city center by train and bus) or the Palermo Centrale railway station.
Tickets
Tickets for individual concerts are on sale via TicketOne and partner platforms. The main start times are 9:00 PM at the Teatro di Verdura and 9:30 PM at the Velodromo. For information: +39 091 6053353.
