A Friday celebration in the heart of Panza

The Panza Summer Fest is the summer festival that, every Friday night from July to September, reignites the village of Panza, the largest hillside district of Forio on the island of Ischia, in the province of Naples. The narrow streets and small squares of the town turn into a long path of music, flavors, crafts, and fun, designed for both residents and the tourists who flock to the island during the warmer months. Now in its third edition in 2026, the event has become a staple of the Forio summer calendar.

Live music and DJ sets until late

The beating heart of the evening is the music. Throughout the village, live concerts, street bands, and theatrical performances accompany visitors as they wander from one alley to the next. Live performances are followed by DJ sets that keep the town moving until late at night, with vocalists and entertainers heating up the atmosphere. The roving format allows you to walk, eat, and dance seamlessly in a typically island-style festive atmosphere.

The taste of the region

Gastronomy is one of the main protagonists of the Panza Summer Fest. Walking through the alleys, you will encounter numerous specialties to enjoy: arrosticini, "hanged" caciocavallo cheese, tomato montanare, sausages and friarielli sandwiches, roast pork, traditional Campanian dishes, and fresh desserts like lemon-infused gelato. A widespread food and wine trail that celebrates the island's flavors and the work of local restaurateurs and producers.

The 2026 novelty: "Il Borgo dei Contadini"

The 2026 edition introduces "Il Borgo dei Contadini", an itinerary dedicated to rediscovering the origins, history, and identity of Panza. The initiative highlights the farming traditions that have helped write the history of this corner of Ischia, offering visitors an authentic glimpse into the village's rural culture, including ancient crafts, memories, and local produce.

Crafts and families

Beyond music and food, the festival features local craft markets where you can find unique creations and typical products, as well as a dedicated children's play area, making the evening suitable for the whole family. Admission is free, in line with the spirit of open and inclusive celebration that characterizes the event.

A local event

The Panza Summer Fest is born from the collaboration between the Pro Loco Panza APS, the Municipality of Forio, the Parish of San Leonardo, and numerous local businesses. It is much more than just a summer festival: it is a way to bring the center of Panza to life, support the local economy, and tell the story of a community in the island-based Campania region, during a summer of music, traditions, and conviviality.
