Street musicians liven up the historic centre's alleys
The Orvieto Street Music Festival is the event that brings live music directly into the alleys and squares of Orvieto's historic centre, in the Province of Terni. For a few days, the cliffside city fills with the sounds of street musicians, in a widespread route winding through the most picturesque corners of its medieval fabric.
Street art takes centre stage: artists and groups informally animate streets, open spaces, and squares, offering those strolling through Orvieto a spontaneous musical experience accessible to everyone. It's a way to experience the city differently, letting yourself be guided by the sounds filling the historic centre.
The festival is included in the unique event calendar "Orvieto Always On", promoted and coordinated by the Municipality of Orvieto in collaboration with local associations and organizers. A proposal that enhances the city's identity and enriches the spring cultural offerings of the Orvieto area.
From May 31st to June 2nd, 2026, the Orvieto Street Music Festival fills the streets and squares of Orvieto's historic centre with music. Street musicians perform in a widespread open-air route, offering residents and visitors an informal and festive atmosphere.
The event is part of the unique "Orvieto Always On 2026" calendar, which brings together over seventy events promoted and coordinated by the Municipality of Orvieto.
The programme with artists' names and locations will be announced by the organization in the weeks preceding the event.
