About Triplo Sound Festival
A festival with three souls
The Triplo Sound Festival was born from a precise idea: to make a musical event also a laboratory for sustainability and territorial enhancement. Promoted by the non-profit association TriploSound in the historic centre of Orvieto (Province of Terni), the festival is divided into three complementary dimensions.
The three dimensions
- Music (Sound-Talk): concerts and meetings between the Teatro Mancinelli and spaces in the city;
- Sustainability (Speech & Panels): debates and discussions on environmental protection and future prospects;
- Territory: exhibitions in exhibition spaces and scattered events that liven up the entire city of Orvieto.
A new festival model
The festival participates in the "Sound." project, which aims to build a new model for music festivals and large events, involving organizers in the adoption of innovative sustainability solutions. A choice that makes Triplo Sound much more than a concert series: an opportunity to rethink the relationship between culture, environment, and community, within one of Umbria's most evocative art cities.
Triplo Sound Festival — edition 2026
The 3rd edition of the Triplo Sound Festival takes place from October 16 to 18, 2026 in the historic centre of Orvieto, with the Teatro Mancinelli and the Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo among the main venues. The formula of the three dimensions — music, sustainability, and territory — which has characterized the festival since its inception, is confirmed. The artistic lineup with guest names will be announced by the organization in the preceding weeks.

How to get there
Orvieto is on the Rome-Florence railway line; from the station, the funicular goes up to the historic centre. By car, take the Orvieto exit of the A1 motorway.
