The end-of-season ski party in Val Senales featuring a prize draw and live music
The Ortler Ski Arena Party is the season-closing celebration at Alpin Arena Senales/Schnals, the glacier ski area in Val Senales (Schnalstal), in the municipality of Senales, province of Bolzano. Set amidst the peaks of the Trentino-Alto Adige region, the day transforms the slopes and high-altitude mountain huts into a vibrant stage, where skiers and enthusiasts gather to bid farewell to winter with music, prize draws, and spring cheer.
The highlight is the grand Ortler Skiarena prize draw: up for grabs are 15 ski weekends to be enjoyed at the resorts within the Ortler Skiarena carousel during the following season. All holders of a valid Ortler Skiarena season pass can participate, provided they are present in person at the time of the draw. Raffle tickets are distributed at the glacier cable car valley station, while the draw takes place at high altitude at the charming Teufelsegg mountain hut, which serves as the hub for the entire day.
The party's soundtrack accompanies the entire day. At the Teufelsegg mountain hut, the Rifflblech band takes the stage, offering an engaging mix of brass sounds blending tradition with modern influences, creating the perfect atmosphere while awaiting the draw. Once the raffle concludes, the party moves down to the valley at the cable car station, where the duo Simon & Mac continues the after-party with their unique blend of accordion and alpine-inspired electronic sounds.
The Ortler Ski Arena Party is much more than just an awards ceremony: it is a festive day celebrating ski culture and the conviviality typical of Alto Adige/Südtirol. Between runs, visitors can enjoy traditional dishes and drinks in the resort's mountain huts, soaking up the spring sun and the breathtaking views of the Val Senales glacier. It is the ideal occasion to combine the last ski run of the season with fun in good company, in one of the highest and most fascinating ski resorts in the Alps.
The event takes place at Alpin Arena Senales/Schnals, accessible by traveling up Val Senales to the village of Maso Corto (Kurzras). Participation in the prize draw is reserved for Ortler Skiarena season pass holders, while the party and live music are open to all skiers and guests in the resort.
The 2026 end-of-season party began at noon at the Teufelsegg mountain hut, with music by Rifflblech livening up the wait. Ticket distribution for the draw closed in the early afternoon at the valley station, while the draw for the 15 Ortler Skiarena ski weekends was held at high altitude at 3:00 PM, reserved for season pass holders present in person. Afterwards, the after-party in the valley with Simon & Mac concluded the day amidst traditional dishes, spring sunshine, and the views of the Val Senales glacier.
