The Blueberry Festival takes place in Ornica, a small mountain municipality in the upper Brembana Valley, in the province of Bergamo. Here, blueberry cultivation has become a true identity: some local farms have made Ornica one of the capitals of Bergamo blueberries, and the festival was created precisely to showcase and celebrate this fruit.

The food and wine trekking

The heart of the event is the blueberry-based food and wine trekking: a walk of a few kilometers through the valley's farms, marked by tasting stops where dishes and products featuring blueberries as the common thread are sampled. It's a way to combine the discovery of the mountain landscape with taste, walking from one farm to another.

The dinner in the village

The walk is complemented by a themed dinner in the village of Ornica, in collaboration with local restaurateurs, also dedicated to blueberries. Both events have limited capacity and require booking.
