A night of art, music, and wonder in the historic center of Sogliano al Rubicone
Ori di Sogliano is one of the most beloved events of the summer in the heart of Romagna. Just one evening in June is enough to transform the historic center of Sogliano al Rubicone, in the province of Forlì-Cesena, into a large open-air stage: from 6 PM until late at night, the town's squares and alleys come alive, light up, and transform with music, colors, scents, and flavors. Admission is completely free and the event is designed for all ages, from children to adults.
The program blends different artistic languages and distributes them throughout the village squares. You'll find buskers and live performances, jugglers, acrobats, and performers, evocative urban installations by Manolo Benvenuti, exhibitions of traditional arts and crafts, painters at work along the streets, as well as museums and exhibitions open for the occasion. Ample space is dedicated to the little ones, with games and creative workshops designed for families.
The 17th edition, scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026, celebrates the bicentennial of Carlo Collodi's birth and draws inspiration from The Adventures of Pinocchio to recreate a magical environment where you can let go and become a child again: a true Land of Toys spread throughout the streets of the center. The various squares of the village become themed areas, each with its own atmosphere, featuring installations, concerts, and moments of wonder.
Ori di Sogliano is also an opportunity to discover the region's food and wine. The Malt in Fossa & street food section offers craft beers and quality gastronomic offerings, in dialogue with local typical products: Sogliano is famous throughout Italy for its Formaggio di Fossa DOP (Cave-aged Cheese), an excellence that tells the story and identity of this corner of the Romagna Apennines.
The event is organized by the Municipality of Sogliano al Rubicone and represents one of the most successful showcases of this Emilia-Romagna village. Walking through its squares during Ori di Sogliano, with the scenic Piazza Matteotti designed by Tonino Guerra as its focal point, means experiencing the historic center in an unusual and festive guise, while discovering the heritage, traditions, and flavors of an authentic territory in Emilia-Romagna.

The squares and alleys will be filled with urban installations, jugglers, acrobats, musicians, and performers, with all events offering free admission.
From 6 PM until well past midnight, the squares and alleys of the historic center will transform into a widespread Land of Toys. Full official program at www.oridisogliano.it.
