The Open-Air Cinema is the summer film series promoted by the Municipality of Paruzzaro, a small town in the Province of Novara, in the heart of the Vergante area, in Piedmont. For two nights each year, the Via Marconi square transforms into an open-air arena: the screen and chairs are set up, evening falls, and the town gathers to watch a film in the open air, in a simple and convivial atmosphere that has become a beloved local summer tradition.

When and where

The 2026 edition features two screenings: Friday, June 19, and Friday, July 10, 2026. Both screenings begin at 9:30 PM in the Via Marconi square, in the town center. Admission is free and open to everyone: just show up, find a seat, and let yourself be captivated by the big screen under the summer sky of the Vergante.

An event for everyone

The series was born with a community-focused spirit: bringing cinema to the town square means offering an accessible moment of leisure for everyone, from families with children to the elderly, and from residents to vacationers visiting this hilly area just a stone's throw from Lake Maggiore.
