The Olive Market Fair is the symbolic event of Pove del Grappa, a village in the Vicenza foothills famous for olive cultivation, so much so that it is known as the 'village of olive trees'. Organized by the Pro Loco Pove del Grappa, the fair has reached its 43rd edition and celebrates extra virgin oil culture and the community's connection to the land every spring.

The Green Market and the oil competition

The heart of the fair is the Green Market, with nurseries and producers offering olive trees and garden products. To enhance the quality of local production, there is the competition for the best EVO oil, which awards the best oils in the area along with the most deserving exhibitors, a recognition awaited by farmers and enthusiasts.

Gastronomy, exhibitions, and music

The food stands accompany all the days with traditional dishes: gnocchi, stew with polenta, and the classic cod with polenta. There are also exhibitions set up in the village halls, musical evenings with DJ sets, and the inauguration of new public spaces, in a celebration that combines culture, taste, and sociality.
