The evening that opens summer in the historic center
The Notte Bianca is one of the most cherished events in the calendar of Gorgonzola, a municipality in the Metropolitan City of Milan known worldwide for the cheese that bears its name. Every year, on an evening in early June, the historic center transforms into a large pedestrian area enlivened until night: it's the town's way of welcoming the arrival of summer.
The formula is that of a widespread festival: no single stage, but many stations scattered among Piazza de Gasperi, Piazza Italia, Via Marconi, and the shopping streets. It ranges from foam parties to live concerts, from aperitifs with DJ sets to Latin American dancing, from karaoke to performances by local bands. For the little ones, there is the fun zone with inflatables, while a charity match takes place at the municipal stadium.
The event is organized by Fieri della Fiera in collaboration with the Municipality of Gorgonzola, the local Confcommercio, and Civil Protection. A precise choice accompanies the event: to favor local commerce, with bars, restaurants, pizzeries, and ice cream parlors in the town remaining open and offering their specialties. Admission is free, and the atmosphere is that of a community celebration, in one of the most vibrant towns in the Martesana area.
Confirmed by the Gorgonzola Municipality's event calendar, the Notte Bianca 2026 returns on Saturday, June 6, from 7:00 PM. This year again, the historic center comes alive with music, sports, and widespread food throughout the town's streets, on the evening that marks the opening of the Gorgonzola summer.
The detailed program for the 2026 edition will be announced by the organizers in the weeks preceding the event. Based on recent editions, the evening is structured with multiple locations in the historic center, from late afternoon until night: foam party in Piazza de Gasperi, aperitif and DJ set in Piazza Italia, karaoke in Via Marconi, Latin American dancing, live concerts by local bands, fun zone with inflatables for children, and a charity match at the municipal stadium.
