Experience the village under the stars in the historic center of Città Sant'Angelo
Every summer, the historic center of Città Sant'Angelo, an elegant hilltop village in the province of Pescara and one of the most charming in Abruzzo, lights up for its Notte Bianca (White Night). With the motto "Experience the village under the stars," the event invites citizens and visitors to enjoy the town center until the early hours of the morning, amidst music, shows, and conviviality. Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and the village squares become one large party space for the night.
The formula is the classic one of Italian white nights: a marathon of concerts in the square, DJ sets alternating along the streets of the center, shows and widespread entertainment, and shops and artisan workshops open until late at night. There is no shortage of gastronomy, with street food stands and local products accompanying the evening. The atmosphere is both lively and familiar, designed for all generations.
The setting is the medieval historic center of Città Sant'Angelo, recognized as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy: churches, historic buildings, and panoramic views over the valley and the Adriatic Sea provide a natural backdrop for the festival. The Notte Bianca is organized by the CALP Association (Merchants, Artisans, and Freelancers) in collaboration with the Municipality of Città Sant'Angelo, and is part of the rich summer calendar of the town, filled with historical re-enactments, concerts, and popular traditions.
Admission to all Notte Bianca events is free. The event attracts a large crowd every year, taking advantage of the evening to combine late-night shopping, good food, and live music in one of the most characteristic locations in the province of Pescara. It is a way to discover or rediscover the charm of this Abruzzo village in a festive, nocturnal guise.
The Notte Bianca 2026 of Città Sant'Angelo will take place on Sunday, August 9 in the historic center of the village, in the province of Pescara. The event, one of the most anticipated of the local summer, will enliven the alleys and squares with concerts, DJ sets, shows, street food, and shops open until late at night.
The detailed program with artists and evening times will be announced by the organizers in the weeks leading up to the event. Admission to all events is free.
Città Sant'Angelo can be reached by car via the A14 motorway, taking the Città Sant'Angelo-Pescara Nord exit, just a few minutes from the historic center. By train, the reference station is Pescara Centrale, connected to the village by bus. The nearest airport is Pescara (Abruzzo Airport).
All events have free admission. The evening enlivens the historic center from evening until late at night. It is recommended to reach the center on foot, using the parking areas in the areas adjacent to the village.
