Note nei Borghi is a free opera concert that enlivens the summer in San Giorgio a Liri, a municipality in the province of Frosinone, in southern Lazio. The chosen stage is one of the places most cherished by the locals: the pond adjacent to the historic center, a small body of water that has always accompanied the life of the town. The program brings together three performers who are very active on the musical scene of Ciociaria and lower Lazio: baritone Cesidio Iacobone, soprano Carla Arciero, and pianist Giacomo Cellucci. The trio performs together regularly at regional cultural festivals and ceremonies: in recent years, they have brought their operatic repertoire to events such as the «Val di Comino» Literary Prize and the City of Saturno Prize in Atina, as well as public events in the village of San Giorgio a Liri itself. It is a town of a few thousand inhabitants, with a historic center of alleys and views typical of Ciociaria, also known for the «Vasci, vicoli e pertose» historical re-enactment that reopens the town's ancient cellars at the end of summer. The 2026 edition: from postponement to the new date

The concert was initially scheduled for Sunday, July 12, 2026, at 9:00 PM. A few days before the event, the Municipality of San Giorgio a Liri announced through its official channels that it would be postponed to a later date; on July 21, the new date was officially confirmed: Sunday, August 2, 2026, still at 9:00 PM and still at the pond. The format remains unchanged: a free evening, open to all, dedicated to the operatic and classical repertoire.
