The night of shooting stars over the sea
The Night of the Stars is the summer event of San Lorenzo al Mare, in the province of Imperia, which celebrates the night of San Lorenzo — that of shooting stars — with a fireworks display over the sea. It is one of the highlights of the summer in the village, capable of attracting residents and tourists along the coast of the Riviera dei Fiori.
Fireworks, music, and entertainment
The heart of the evening is the fireworks display over the sea, accompanied by music and entertainment on the seafront. The event is organized by the Municipality in collaboration with the Ligurian Riviera Chamber of Commerce, as part of the rich summer calendar that enlivens the town.
San Lorenzo al Mare in summer
With its promenade, the cycle-pedestrian path of the Riviera dei Fiori Coastal Park, and its beaches, San Lorenzo al Mare is a popular destination in Liguria during the summer. The Night of the Stars is the perfect opportunity to experience the village on one of its most magical evenings, with your gaze turned upwards between fireworks and shooting stars.
Night of the Stars — edition 2026
The 2026 edition is confirmed for August 10, the night of San Lorenzo. For this edition, the fireworks display has been enhanced, confirming the central role of the evening in the summer calendar of San Lorenzo al Mare.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Ligurian Riviera Chamber of Commerce.

How to get there
San Lorenzo al Mare is on the Via Aurelia (SS1). By car, take the Imperia Ovest exit of the A10 motorway. The San Lorenzo-Cipressa train station is close to the center.
