The largest indoor boat show in Southern Italy
NAUTA – Mediterranean Boat Show is the grand showcase for recreational boating in Southern Italy, transforming the SiciliaFiera exhibition center in Misterbianco, in the metropolitan area of Catania, into the capital of the sea every year. Organized by Eurofiere and supported by Confindustria Nautica, the event is considered the largest indoor boat show in the South and one of the leading industry appointments in Italy.
The SiciliaFiera pavilions host hundreds of vessels: motorboats and sailboats, a vast section dedicated to inflatables of all sizes, luxury yachts, and the latest generation of outboard motors, including electric models. Alongside the boats, there is space for sport fishing equipment, accessories, technical clothing, and services for boaters, in an exhibition layout designed for both industry professionals and the general public.
NAUTA brings together the leaders of national and international shipbuilding, featuring prestigious yachting brands and an ever-growing presence of direct manufacturing shipyards. The event also features industry previews, new model presentations, and dedicated sponsor areas, confirming the significant impact the exhibition has achieved.
Beyond the exhibition, the show offers round tables and conferences with institutions, trade associations, and political and economic representatives, focusing on the development prospects of recreational boating, port planning, and opportunities for the Sicilian region.
A meeting point for enthusiasts, families, and professionals, NAUTA highlights the maritime vocation of Sicily and the Municipality of Catania, within the Metropolitan City of Catania, offering the chance to discover the best of Mediterranean nautical production just a few kilometers from the Ionian Sea.
The 24th edition of the Mediterranean Boat Show was held at SiciliaFiera in Misterbianco (Catania) over two weekends: from February 27 to March 1 and from March 5 to 8, 2026, with continuous hours from 10 am to 7 pm.
Across approximately 27,000 square meters of exhibition space, over 100 exhibitors were present, with a significant novelty: about 70% represented by direct manufacturing shipyards, confirming the national importance reached by the event. One pavilion was dedicated to fishing, alongside areas for motorboats, sailboats, inflatables, and engines.
The inauguration saw the participation of Minister Nello Musumeci, the president of Confindustria Nautica Piero Formenti, and the organizer Alessandro Lanzafame (Eurofiere), with round tables dedicated to the development prospects of recreational boating and port planning in Eastern Sicily.
The event is held at the SiciliaFiera exhibition center in Misterbianco (Catania), on Via Leopoldo Franchetti, easily accessible by car from the Catania ring road and the A19 motorway; ample parking is available on-site. Catania-Fontanarossa Airport is just a few kilometers away.
The show is generally open with continuous hours from morning to evening. Tickets, including advance and skip-the-line options, can be purchased online (via the Eventbrite platform) and directly at the fair ticket office. It is recommended to check the updated hours and rates on the official website.
