Expo Wild

A major new outdoor fair in the heart of Sicily

Expo Wild is a trade fair dedicated to the world of nature, sustainable hunting and fishing, and open-air sports, held at SiciliaFiera, the exhibition center in Misterbianco, in the province of Catania. Presented as the most important event of its kind in Southern Italy, it fills the pavilions of the Etna-area exhibition center for three days with industry stands, demonstration areas, conferences, and activities designed for the whole family.

Hunting, fishing, sports, and nature

The common thread of Expo Wild is the direct relationship with nature in all its forms: from responsible hunting and fishing to outdoor sports, mountain biking, and clay pigeon shooting, as well as technological innovation and environmental protection. Alongside the exhibitors, there are thematic workshops, demonstrations, and interactive areas for adults and children, with a sports program created in collaboration with CONI to introduce younger generations to movement, wellness, and outdoor living.

Conferences and local culture

A significant part of the event is reserved for in-depth meetings. The program includes a series of conferences and round tables ranging from wildlife management to environmental protection, safety, training, and economic analysis of the sector. Institutions, universities, and specialized bodies participate in these discussions, including the Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute of Sicily and the University of Catania, with a focus on zoonosis, economics, and land management.

Shows and entertainment

Expo Wild is not just about exhibitions and conferences: among the most popular attractions are the shooting performances by champion Raniero Testa, holder of numerous world records, fishing trials for children, airsoft activities, dog training demonstrations, and an acrobatic mountain bike track. A mix of information, sport, and entertainment that made the first edition a great success with the public.

In Misterbianco, at the gates of Catania

The event is held at SiciliaFiera in Misterbianco, a municipality in the metropolitan city of Catania, in an easily accessible and well-served location. For Sicily and the entire South of Italy, Expo Wild represents a reference point for those who experience nature as a passion, a sport, and a lifestyle.
