Trekking, meditation, and live music on the Blues Trail in Borgiallo
Nature Plays Along the Blues Trail is an experiential event held in Borgiallo, a small municipality in the Valle Sacra within the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont. Organized by the InTrekking guide service, it combines three rarely met dimensions into a single itinerary: slow walking in nature, meditation practices, and live sound accompaniment. The result is a true sensory stroll, designed to slow down the pace, breathe, and reconnect with the surrounding environment.
The route winds along the famous Blues Trail, a circular nature path that develops through the woods above Borgiallo. This thematic itinerary was born from the village's passion for blues music and is dotted with listening points: along the way, panels equipped with QR codes allow visitors to listen to short audio stories about the history of the blues, curated by music journalist Edoardo Fassio. It is an original way to walk while letting the soul of a universal musical genre tell its story.
What makes this proposal special is the encounter between movement and mindful stillness. During the hike, in collaboration with a holistic practitioner expert in yoga and meditation, somatic and meditative practices are offered to help participants find inner balance and perceive the earth's energy. The live sound accompaniment weaves vibrations and melodies with the rustling of leaves and the flowing of water, creating an immersive and regenerating soundscape.
Borgiallo is a small village in the Valle Sacra, in the Canavese area, which has linked its cultural identity to the blues for years. This passion has given birth to the local music festival and permanent installations such as the Blues Trail and the Libroteca, a thematic library dedicated to the genre. Participating in Nature Plays means living an experience that is simultaneously a hike, a wellness session, and a cultural immersion in an authentic and peaceful corner of the Metropolitan City of Turin.
