For five days, the Palazzetto dello Sport in Salsomaggiore Terme, located at via Ugo La Malfa, transforms into the beating heart of Italian artistic roller skating. The National AiCS Artistic Skating Review – Show and Synchronized Groups is one of the most attended events in the Associazione Italiana Cultura Sport's sports calendar, attracting clubs and athletes from every region of the country to the spa town in the Province of Parma, Emilia-Romagna.
Show and Synchronized Groups: two souls, one great festival
The Review features two of the most spectacular disciplines in roller skating. Show Groups present collective choreographies in costume, true theatrical performances on skates, blending music, scenography, and technique. Synchronized Skating (or Precision) rewards the absolute precision of formations, which draw perfectly coordinated geometric shapes on the parquet.
The competition rink is a 22 x 44 meter painted parquet floor, where teams, quartets, and large formations take turns for days, in front of a large audience of families, enthusiasts, and companions.
Impressive Numbers
The Review is an event of imposing proportions: nearly two thousand athletes are expected, over a hundred affiliated sports clubs, and hundreds of groups registered in various categories. The competitions are also broadcast live streaming, testifying to the national dimension of the event and the attention it garners beyond the borders of Emilia-Romagna.
Organizers
The event is organized by the Sports Department of the National Directorate of AiCS, in collaboration with the Provincial Committee of AiCS Parma and the Regional Committee of AiCS Emilia-Romagna, with the patronage of the Municipality of Salsomaggiore Terme. The technical direction is entrusted to the National Skating Commission of AiCS.

Salsomaggiore Terme, an elegant spa town in the Parma Apennines, offers the ideal setting to welcome athletes and families: accommodation facilities, historic thermal baths, and a convenient location between the Po Valley and the hills. Over the years, the town has become one of the most beloved venues for the AiCS skating world, capable of managing the influx of thousands of people for several consecutive days.
National AiCS Skating Review — edition 2026
The National AiCS 2026 Review brought nearly two thousand athletes from all over Italy to Salsomaggiore Terme from March 11 to 15 for the Show Groups and Synchronized Skating specialties. The event, hosted on the 22 x 44 meter parquet of the Palazzetto dello Sport on Via La Malfa, saw the participation of over a hundred affiliated AiCS clubs with hundreds of groups competing.
Organized by the Sports Department of the National Directorate of AiCS with the Parma and Emilia-Romagna Committees and the patronage of the Municipality of Salsomaggiore Terme, the edition featured collective choreographies in costume and precision formations, with competitions also broadcast live streaming.
Programme National AiCS Skating Review 2026
Five days of competition — March 11-15, 2026
The Review was structured over five consecutive days of competition, from Wednesday, March 11 to Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Salsomaggiore Terme. The schedule alternated sessions dedicated to the different categories of Show Groups and Synchronized Skating (Precision), with practice times, regulated rink entries, and awards at the close of each category.
- Disciplines in competition: Show Groups (large and small costumed groups) and Synchronized/Precision (quartets and formations).
- Numbers: nearly 2000 athletes expected, over 100 AiCS affiliated sports clubs, hundreds of groups registered in the various categories.
- Live streaming: the competitions were broadcast live on the dedicated AiCS portal.
The detailed hourly schedule for each day and the rink entry order were officially published by AiCS in downloadable PDF format on the eve of the event, along with the official event poster.

By car: A1 motorway exit Fidenza-Salsomaggiore, a few kilometers from the center. By train: Salsomaggiore Terme station (connected via Fidenza on the Milan-Bologna line). By plane: Parma and Bologna airports are the closest.
Admission and access
Public admission to the stands is generally free. The competitions can also be followed via live streaming on the dedicated AiCS portal.
Registration
Participation is reserved for AiCS affiliated clubs for the current year and their registered AiCS athletes, with registrations via the AiCS Championships portal within the established deadlines.

Salsomaggiore Terme has numerous hotels and accommodation facilities, ideal for families and clubs traveling during the Review days.
