Ricordi del Passato – Antique and Modern Market

A historic market in the heart of Caorso

Ricordi del Passato is the antique and modern market that enlivens the historic center of Caorso, a small municipality in the Piacenza plain in the province of Piacenza, Emilia-Romagna, one Sunday a month. Also known as "Ricordi del Passato Historic Market with Hobbyists," the event attracts hundreds of visitors every fourth Sunday of the month to the stalls set up along Via Roma and in Piazza della Rocca.

What to find at the stalls

Around 180 exhibitors and hobbyists offer a wide and varied selection: antique objects, collectibles, modern items, old prints and postcards, antique furniture and furnishings, ceramics, glassware, used books, vinyl records, coins, vintage toys, and many small curiosities. Alongside items from the past, there are also creations born from the creativity of hobbyists, in a market that combines a passion for vintage with recovery and reuse.

When and where

The market is held on the fourth Sunday of each month, from February to November (excluding January and December), from 8 AM to 5 PM. The stalls occupy the town center, particularly Via Roma and Piazza della Rocca, in a pedestrian area easily accessible on foot. Admission is free.

A village event

Organized by the Municipality of Caorso in collaboration with the El Belensei Association, Ricordi del Passato is now a regular fixture on the local calendar and one of the most popular events of the year in the town. Its monthly frequency, from late winter to autumn, makes it an ideal destination for a Sunday stroll through history, memory, and little treasures to discover, in a quiet and authentic corner of the province of Piacenza.
