The Amalfi Coast yoga and meditation festival, coming to Tramonti in 2026
Namasté Praiano – Holistic Oasis is a festival dedicated to yoga, meditation, and holistic disciplines, founded on the Amalfi Coast by Elvira Zingone. Having grown year after year across the squares and terraces of Praiano, the festival reaches its seventh year in 2026 and takes a new step: moving inland to the town of Tramonti, in the province of Salerno, Campania. The core idea remains the same: using physical practice and breathwork as a key to truly connecting with a territory, rather than just passing through it.
From September 4th to 6th, 2026, the festival will take place in the Novella district, one of the ancient scattered villages that make up Tramonti. The event is the result of a collaboration between Praiano and Tramonti, two very different towns on the same coast: one overlooking the sea, the other nestled in the Lattari Mountains. The organizers' stated goal is to promote experiential and sustainable tourism and to showcase the natural and cultural heritage of the coast, including its lesser-known inland areas.
The 2026 program brings together a diverse range of practices, designed for both long-time practitioners and beginners:
Announced names for the 2026 edition include Daniela Quintiliani, Marzia Rossi, Sara Ruocco, Paola De Martino, Francesca Zannelli, Teodoro Castolo, and Emiliana Sorrentino. Each teacher brings their own approach, allowing participants to transition from an energetic early-morning practice to a more meditative evening session throughout the weekend.
Those who only know the Amalfi Coast for Positano and Amalfi will discover an unexpected landscape in Tramonti: chestnut woods, terraced hills, historic Tintore and Per'e Palummo vineyards, trails climbing toward the Lattari Mountains, and houses scattered across thirteen districts. It is the greenest town on the coast and one of the coolest, making the first weekend of September particularly suitable for outdoor practice. The area is also known for its farming and cheesemaking traditions—from fiordilatte to artisanal pasta, and high-altitude lemons and wines—which naturally complement the festival's convivial atmosphere.
Namasté Praiano is not a closed-door retreat but a widespread event: practices are held outdoors and in the village spaces, with early morning starts to take advantage of the light and silence. The 2026 edition concludes on Sunday, September 6th, with the Morning Club, a format dedicated to awakening through music and movement, transforming the end of the festival into a small collective celebration rather than a simple farewell.
Practices and individual treatments can be booked through the organizers. For the detailed program with times and locations, and for participation details, please refer to the official channels of Namasté Praiano – Holistic Oasis.
