Music as a tool for inclusion
Born in 2015, MusicAbilmente is the festival of inclusion that enlivens Chamois (Aosta Province) every summer, the only municipality in the Aosta Valley reachable only by cable car. The event is dedicated to musical, theatrical, and dance groups composed of young people and adults with disabilities, accompanied by their teachers and educators. The goal is to give value and visibility to the artistic and professional skills developed by each group through educational, training, and inclusion paths.
Two days of performance at Plan des Avaz
The festival typically takes place over a weekend, between Plan des Avaz and the Chamois municipal hall. The program intertwines different genres and languages:
- Concerts by inclusive choirs and music groups
- Theatrical performances and dance moments
- Film screenings related to themes of inclusion and disability
- A round table for discussion among participants
The event is organized by the association Insieme a Chamois - Enzembio a Tzamoué, with the artistic direction of Enrico De Palmas and the support of the Regional Council of the Aosta Valley and the Municipality of Chamois.
A growing festival
After reaching its tenth anniversary in 2025, MusicAbilmente continues to be a benchmark event for the world of inclusion in the Aosta Valley. The setting of Chamois, far from traffic and immersed in nature, amplifies the festival's message: music and art as universal languages capable of breaking down all barriers.
MusicAbilmente — edition 2026
The eleventh edition of MusicAbilmente will take place on July 4 and 5, 2026, at Plan des Avaz, in Chamois. The festival of inclusion will once again bring together musical, theatrical, and dance groups composed of people with disabilities, along with their teachers and educators, for two days of performances, concerts, and discussions. The organization is managed by the association Insieme a Chamois - Enzembio a Tzamoué.

The detailed program for the eleventh edition (July 4-5, 2026), including participating groups and performance times, will be announced by the association Insieme a Chamois closer to the event. The usual festival structure includes:

How to get there
Chamois is reached exclusively by cable car from Buisson (Antey-Saint-André), along the SS26 of the Aosta Valley. Parking is available in Buisson, from where the lift to the village departs.
