A widespread festival in the heart of the Canavese
Music and Flavors in the Streets is the event that, every late May, brings the historic center of Pavone Canavese to life—a small village in the Province of Turin dominated by its famous medieval castle, in the heart of the Piedmontese Canavese. The event was born as a community-wide festival: not just a single stage, but the very streets and squares of the town become the backdrop for live music, great food, and social connection.
Music and gastronomy, house by house
The formula is simple and successful: you stroll through the alleys of the historic center, tasting specialties prepared by local Pro Loco associations while listening to concerts that follow one another along the route. Various Canavese Pro Loco groups manage the food stalls with traditional local dishes, while musical bands animate the corners of the town, creating a festive atmosphere that engages both residents and visitors.

The program is enriched with numerous side activities designed for all ages:

Pavone Canavese and its castle
The setting for the event is one of the most charming villages in the Canavese area: Pavone Canavese is famous for its medieval castle, one of the best-preserved historic residences in Piedmont, which overlooks the town and provides the backdrop for a festival deeply rooted in the local identity. The organization is handled by the Ordine dei Castellani Association, with the participation of other local associations and the collaboration of the Municipality of Pavone Canavese.
Free admission
The event is free to enter: you only pay for what you consume at the stalls. It is the perfect opportunity to spend a day with the family, discover an authentic corner of Piedmont, and enjoy the food and wine excellence of the Canavese region.
