MoVeg – Sustainability and Conscious Living Festival is the event that transforms Largo del Castello in Mosciano Sant'Angelo—a hilltop village in the province of Teramo, Abruzzo—into an open-air laboratory of ideas, flavors, and ecological values. Launched in 2025 under the name "Mosciano Vegetale", the event is promoted by the Municipality of Mosciano Sant'Angelo and has received widespread public and critical acclaim since its debut.
A festival for health and the planet
MoVeg offers a journey that combines plant-based nutrition, environmental culture, and social connection. The heart of the day is the panel discussion on conscious living, which brings together veterinarians, dietitians, food journalists, and associations such as Vegan Abruzzo and Plastic Free Abruzzo to reflect on the relationship between food, health, and the environment. Surrounding the debate is a rich program of activities designed for all ages.

MoVeg 2026, the second edition
On Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Largo del Castello in Mosciano Sant'Angelo hosted the second edition of MoVeg. The day began at 4:00 PM with the opening of the stands, followed by institutional greetings and, at 5:00 PM, the panel discussion on conscious living.
The debate featured veterinarian Marta Papola, Sara Righi from Vegan Abruzzo, dietitian Stefano Fusella, food journalist Giancarlo Pierannunzi, and a representative from Plastic Free Abruzzo. Throughout the afternoon, children's workshops, the themed market, and exhibition stands were open to the public.

How to get there
Mosciano Sant'Angelo can be reached by car via the A14 motorway (Roseto degli Abruzzi or Val Vibrata exit), just a few kilometers from the Teramo coast. The nearest train station is Giulianova, on the Adriatic line, which is connected to the town center by local bus services.
Admission
Access to the festival area is free. Activities take place at Largo del Castello, in the historic center of Mosciano Sant'Angelo.
