The Motosalsicciata of Voltana is an event now rooted in the spring calendar of the Bassa Romagna. It takes place in Voltana, a populous hamlet of the Municipality of Lugo, in the Province of Ravenna (Emilia-Romagna), and over the years has become one of the most characteristic and anticipated motorcycle rallies in the region. The name itself, a fusion of "moto" (motorcycle) and "salsicciata" (sausage feast), tells the soul of the event: the meeting between the passion for two wheels and the Romagna gastronomic tradition, with grilled sausage as the main star.

A weekend of engines, taste, and music

For three days, Piazza dell'Unità and the surrounding streets transform into a large festival village. The food stall is the beating heart of the event: sausage, piadina, local specialties, and beer accompany lunches and dinners, with takeaway service also available. Bikers gather in Voltana for the motorcycle tour through the roads of the Romagna plain, with a stop for an aperitif, before returning for a convivial lunch and the lottery draw, which each year offers a new motorcycle as a prize. It is a rally open to all enthusiasts, from vintage motorcycles to maxi enduro, in a festive and friendly atmosphere that is the true hallmark of the event.
