Mossa's Summer Night

Mossa by Night is the summer event that in July transforms the field in via dello Sport in Mossa, a small municipality in the Gorizia area, into a large party space. Organized by the Diamoci una Mossa association, the event combines the sporting spirit of the afternoon with the music and conviviality of the evening, in two days designed for the young people and families of the area.

Tournaments by day, party by night

The afternoon is dedicated to sports tournaments: 5-a-side football, 3-a-side volleyball, and, when it returns, basketball, with categories and registrations open in the preceding weeks. As evening falls, sport gives way to live music and DJ sets, while the food and wine stands and the fritter kiosk remain active until late at night, in a festive atmosphere that has made Mossa by Night one of the most popular events of the Gorizia summer.

A growing festival

Born as a local volunteer initiative, the event has built a loyal following, attracting hundreds of people from the entire province of Gorizia each year. With historic sponsors and new collaborations, Mossa by Night is today a small but significant event that showcases the vitality of the Municipality of Mossa, in the heart of the Gorizia Collio, a stone's throw from the Slovenian border.
