Mortara Under the Foam is the craft beer festival of Mortara (Province of Pavia), which every spring enlivens Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II with a grand celebration dedicated to quality beer and street food. The event features over fifty beers on tap, from Italian craft breweries, to discover and taste in the heart of the Lomellina region.
Beer, Food, and Music
Alongside the taps, the festival offers a rich selection of street food — arrosticini, hamburgers, pulled pork, ribs, and much more — and a premium cocktail area. The soundtrack is provided by DJ sets and live music that accompany the evenings, creating a festive atmosphere suitable for all ages, from craft beer enthusiasts to families.
An Event for Lomellina
Organized by Beerinba Eventi together with Birreria Mortarese Birre Vive, with municipal patronage, Mortara Under the Foam is now a classic of the Lomellina spring calendar. Free admission and its central location in Mortara's main square make it an event capable of attracting visitors from all over the province of Pavia, in a great celebration of conviviality and taste.

The 2026 edition, the ninth, takes place from Friday, May 8th to Sunday, May 10th, in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II in Mortara. Over 50 beers on tap from craft breweries (including Birrificio La Granda and Birra Due Tocchi), street food, Alcotrafficante cocktail area, DJ sets, and live music. New for 2026: Sunday lunch service. Organized by Beerinba Eventi and Birreria Mortarese Birre Vive.
