A springboard for young musical talent

Montopoli Music & Talents is the music competition that brings the voices and sounds of local rising stars to the stage of the Teatro Mons. Enzo Terreni in Capanne, a village in Montopoli in Val d'Arno, in the province of Pisa, every spring. Created to encourage and support emerging talent, the competition combines a passion for music with a commitment to promoting the Pisan Valdarno, a land rich in history and cultural initiatives.

Who can participate

The competition is open to bands and soloists: from young students of Italian public and private music schools to pupils of middle schools with music curricula, music high schools, and conservatories. This wide reach makes Montopoli Music & Talents a meeting point between music education and the stage, where aspiring artists can test themselves before a live audience and a qualified jury.

How it works

The event is divided into two phases. The auditions are held on the first day, where candidates perform to qualify for the final stage. The final show, held a few weeks later, brings the finalists to the stage of the Teatro Mons. Enzo Terreni for a gala evening, featuring the award ceremony. Among the most coveted prizes are the Giubilate Award, the Blu Confine Award, and the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di San Miniato Award.

Beyond official recognition, the competition offers winners concrete opportunities for artistic growth: the chance to perform at local events, such as food festivals and village fairs, and the opportunity for studio recording. Organization and local roots

Montopoli Music & Talents is organized by the Associazione Giubilate Internazionale APS, conceived by Valeria Agrosì, with the patronage of the Municipality of Montopoli in Val d'Arno and the support of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di San Miniato. Local entities such as Blu Confine and ACLI collaborate on the initiative's success. Edition after edition, the competition has established itself as one of the most anticipated events of the Montopoli spring, capable of weaving together the discovery of new artists with the promotion of a territory with a strong identity in the heart of Tuscany.
