About San Severo Antiques Market

Every last Sunday of the month, the center of San Severo, specifically Piazza Carmine and Piazza Aldo Moro, transforms into a large open-air market dedicated to antiques, collectibles, crafts, and hobbies. Organized by the Pro Loco San Severo Tourist Association with the patronage of the Municipality, it is a staple event for vintage enthusiasts, curious visitors, and families alike: from early morning until late evening, you can stroll among stalls filled with period furniture, prints, coins, records, ceramics, and small collectibles. Free admission.

A staple event in the heart of the Capitanata

The Monthly Antiques, Collectibles and Hobby Market is one of the most deeply rooted local traditions in San Severo, an important center in the Province of Foggia and the historical capital of the Alto Tavoliere, in Puglia. Held monthly, usually on the last Sunday of the month, the urban living room formed by Piazza Carmine and Piazza Aldo Moro fills with exhibitors, stalls, and curious visitors, bringing to life a long day in the open air dedicated to antiques and second-hand treasures.

What you will find at the stalls

The initiative, promoted by the Pro Loco San Severo Tourist Association with the approval of the Municipal Council, brings together various product categories in a single, extensive visitor route:

  • Antiques: period furniture, frames, prints, sacred objects, and furnishings from the past.
  • Collectibles: coins, stamps, postcards, vinyl records, vintage toys, and small rarities.
  • Crafts: handmade creations and local products.
  • Hobbies and various curiosities, for fans of upcycling and retro items.

The "all-day" format is one of the hallmarks of the San Severo market: stalls remain set up from 7:00 AM to 10:30 PM, allowing you to experience the event both as a morning stroll in search of a bargain and as a pleasant evening stop in the city center.

An opportunity to experience the historic center

Beyond buying and selling, the market is a chance to rediscover the center of San Severo, with its Baroque churches and squares bustling with residents. A walk among the stalls pairs naturally with a break in the local bars and pastry shops, making the market Sunday a small collective ritual for the Capitanata community.

A calendar that lasts all year round

The market is not limited to the last Sunday of the month: throughout the year, the Pro Loco usually schedules additional dates during major holidays and, above all, an intense Christmas period with several consecutive Sundays. The organization and calendar are subject to annual authorizations from the Municipality of San Severo. The dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been announced: it is advisable to check them on the Pro Loco San Severo channels before planning your visit.

San Severo Antiques Market โ€” edition 2026

The 2026 edition of the monthly antiques, collectibles, and hobby market by Pro Loco San Severo does not yet have an official published calendar. In continuity with previous years, the event is expected to return monthly to Piazza Carmine and Piazza Aldo Moro, with free admission and the usual additional dates during holiday periods.

For 2026, the Pro Loco San Severo has not yet released the official calendar for the market days. Following the usual pattern, the event is expected to take place on the last Sunday of every month in Piazza Carmine and Piazza Aldo Moro, with hours from early morning until evening and potential additional Sundays during holidays and the Christmas season.

The exact dates will be communicated by the organizers throughout the year: it is recommended to verify them with the Pro Loco San Severo Tourist Association before planning your visit. Admission remains free.
