The agricultural and livestock show in the heart of the walled city
The Montagnanese in Fiera is the traditional agricultural and livestock show that enlivens the historic center of Montagnana, in the province of Padova, every early October. In the shadow of the famous 14th-century walls, the fair showcases the rural richness of the area: farm animals and livestock, agricultural machinery and equipment, typical products, and popular traditions of the Scodosia.
The program alternates between exhibitions of animals and machinery, food stalls with the flavors of Venetian cuisine, a craft market, and itinerant shows that traverse the village. Among the highlights of the entertainment, the folk group Bontemponi offers an itinerant show along the historic center, contributing to the festive atmosphere of a day dedicated to the land and those who work it.
The setting for the event is the unique one of Montagnana, one of the best-preserved walled cities in Europe, in southern Veneto a few kilometers from the Euganean Hills. The fair is an opportunity to discover the village, its squares, and its agricultural identity, in an event that attracts visitors from all over the province each year.
The Montagnanese in Fiera 2026, now in its XXIII edition, returns on the first weekend of October to the walled center of Montagnana (PD). The agricultural and livestock show features exhibitions of animals and agricultural equipment, food stalls with typical products, a craft market, and itinerant shows, including performances by the Bontemponi folk group along the historic center.
Program coming soon. The event takes place over two days (Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, 2026) with exhibitions of animals and agricultural machinery, tastings of typical products, a craft market, music, and itinerant shows in the historic center. Detailed times will be published on the official page.
