The wheat festival
The Festa della Spiga is the big village festival of Pojana Maggiore, in the Berici Hills near Vicenza. Founded to celebrate the wheat ear and the area's connection to Venetian rural tradition, it is organized by the Associazione Comitato della Spiga, which brings together the communities of Pojana, Cagnano, and Cicogna. For ten days, between late May and early June, it enlivens the park of Villa Pojana, one of the most famous Palladian villas in the Vicenza area.
Ten days of music and conviviality
The program features a mix of concerts, DJ sets, themed evenings, comedy shows, gatherings, and family events, with a food stand open almost every evening, dedicated to the specialties of traditional Venetian rural cuisine. The grand finale is dedicated to Miss Spiga, the election that concludes the festival with music and fun.
A Palladian setting
What makes the festival unique is its setting: the park of Villa Pojana, designed by Andrea Palladio, offers a charming backdrop to a popular event that, edition after edition, has become a highly anticipated fixture in the entire Berici Hills region.
Festa della Spiga — edition 2026
The 14th Festa della Spiga (May 29 - June 7, 2026) returns to the park of Villa Pojana in Pojana Maggiore, organized by the Associazione Comitato della Spiga. Ten days of music, comedy, DJ sets, and family events, with the food stand offering Venetian rural specialties open almost every evening. Among the guests are the comedy duo Marco e Pippo and a series of themed evenings culminating in the election of Miss Spiga 2026.

Main Evenings — Park of Villa Pojana
- June 3 — Marco e Pippo, the Venetian comedy duo (ticketed evening, presale on Ticketone). The food stand will be closed on this evening.
- June 4 — DJ Yano with Morgan and Kuma
- June 5 — "I Want to Go Back to the 90s" evening
- June 7 — Grand finale with Miss Spiga 2026 and DJ Gloria Fregonese; on this day, the food stand will exceptionally open for lunch as well
Other Evenings
- Musical entertainment with artists and bands including Mama by Besame, as well as evenings with DJs and local groups on other days
- Food stand with traditional Venetian rural specialties, open almost every evening (except June 3)
