Eight evenings of gastronomy, music, and craft beer festival in the Berici Hills
The Sagra della Madonna di Settembre is the event that bids farewell to summer in Pojana Maggiore, in the Berici Hills near Vicenza. Linked to the September Marian commemoration, the sagra (traditional festival) is organised by the Pro Loco (local tourism board) along with the Municipality and the parish, and spans two weekends with about ten evenings of celebration.
The heart of the event is the food stall with traditional dishes: gnocchi, bigoli pasta, grilled meats, sausages, and homemade desserts, accompanied by local wines and craft beers. There's also a Craft Beer Festival, alongside ballroom dancing evenings, DJ sets, tombola (bingo), a funfair, and a rich charity raffle. It's the quintessential Venetian village festival, capable of uniting different generations around good food and music.
In 2026 too, the Sagra della Madonna di Settembre will close the summer in Pojana Maggiore in the Berici Hills. The sagra will reprise its tried-and-tested format: food stalls with traditional dishes, ballroom dancing and DJ evenings, tombola, a funfair, a rich charity raffle, and the craft beer festival.
Programme coming soon. Based on recent editions, the sagra takes place over two weekends with food stalls (gnocchi, bigoli pasta, grilled meats, sausages, homemade desserts, local wines and beers), ballroom dancing evenings, DJ sets, tombola, a funfair, a charity raffle, and a craft beer festival. Dates and details on the Pro Loco's channels.
