Among the fifteen dates of the eleventh edition of Monferrato on Stage, the traveling festival that runs from May 23 to August 29, 2026, across the villages of the provinces of Turin, Asti, and Alessandria, is the stop in Cavagnolo, a small town in the province of Turin overlooking the Monferrato hills and the Po river. Here, on July 17 and 18, 2026, two free-entry evenings will transform the town square into an open-air stage.

A stop designed for the youth

Cavagnolo is one of five municipalities included in the Monferrato Next project, the branch of the festival dedicated to new generations and the emerging scene. The first evening, July 17, is entirely built around Cavaflow, an urban and hip-hop format conceived and organized by local youth, which gives space to emerging local artists before handing the stage over to two heavyweights of Italian rap.

Music, territory, and flavors

Like every stop on the tour, Cavagnolo weaves music together with the promotion of the Monferrato region: the concerts are accompanied by local food and wine excellence, with wines from the hills and typical products curated by the network of producers and consortia supporting the event. It is the formula that has made Monferrato on Stage a recognized appointment throughout Piedmont, capable of bringing great artists even to the smallest centers.

A festival spread across the Monferrato

Created to promote the Monferrato through music, culture, and gastronomy, the festival is organized by the Fondazione MOS ETS and involves about fifteen municipalities across three provinces each year. The Cavagnolo stop is part of a 2026 program that brings names like Simona Molinari, Angelica Bove, Modena City Ramblers, Rino Gaetano Band, and Dutch Nazari to the region's stages. Admission to all events is free.
