The Monferr'Autore Festival is a traveling series of encounters, stories, songs, and visions that traverses numerous towns in the province of Alessandria between spring and summer, bringing music and culture to the heart of one of the most evocative territories in Piedmont: the Monferrato, a wine-growing landscape recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Pontestura stop, a village overlooking the Po in the Casale area, hosts one of the most intriguing and anticipated events on the calendar.

An evening with Riccardo Rossi

The star of the evening in Pontestura is Riccardo Rossi, a well-known television host, actor, comedian, and musician, recently featured on the Rai 1 program Canzonissima. Rossi is interviewed by Repubblica television critic Antonio Dipollina and the festival's artistic director Enrico Deregibus, in a dialogue about his career and musical loves. The conversation is interspersed with tracks played on a turntable and live keyboard performances by Rossi himself, weaving together television, comedy, and a passion for music.

A multidisciplinary festival

The festival, directed by journalist and cultural operator Enrico Deregibus and organized by AccademiaMonferrato Musica&Danza, spans singer-songwriter music, rock, and folk, as well as theater, clever comedy, and literature, often featuring moments of dialogue with the guests. The 2026 edition involves the municipalities of Balzola, Conzano, Gamalero, Lu Cuccaro Monferrato, Occimiano, Pontestura, Rivarone, Treville, and Volpedo. The lineup includes artists such as Ron, Mauro Pagani, Elena Ledda, Davide Van De Sfroos, Dente, Banda Osiris, and Bruno Gambarotta.
