The Mojotic Festival is the summer event that brings the international indie and rock scene to Sestri Levante, in the Gulf of Tigullio (Metropolitan City of Genoa). Its home is the Arena Conchiglia Theatre, a small amphitheatre overlooking the famous Bay of Silence: a location that enhances the charm of the concerts, between the sea and enchantment.
From showcase format to a true festival
After some seasons in a reduced format, Mojotic is regaining its dimension as a true festival, with a programme concentrated over several days of concerts. The artistic proposal favours bands from the alternative British and Irish scene, with particular attention to emerging and cult names, far from the major commercial circuits.
A niche and quality festival
Aimed at an audience of enthusiasts, Mojotic has built a reputation over the years as a curated showcase attentive to musical quality. The combination of an international programme and an intimate setting like the Arena Conchiglia makes the experience unique in the Ligurian summer festival scene.
Mojotic Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition marks Mojotic's return to its dimension as a true festival, with three evenings of concerts from August 9 to 11 at the Arena Conchiglia Theatre, overlooking the Bay of Silence.
The lineup brings some names from the British and Irish alternative scene to Sestri Levante: Cardinals, a rock band from Cork, opens on August 9; followed by The Molotovs, a London duo, on August 10; and the festival closes with Maruja, an English group, on August 11.
