The Midsummer Festival (abbreviated as FME) is the major summer celebration of the town of Carignano, located in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont. Organized with passion by Pro Loco Carignano, the event transforms the open-air space of the former Cava Madonna del Gerbido along Via Villastellone into a vibrant festival village featuring a stage, music, food, and entertainment for all ages.

A proven format of concerts and DJ sets

The FME program alternates between live music and DJ sets every night, with an increasing focus on the quality of the artists hosted. Evenings typically kick off with an Happy Spritz aperitif and continue late into the night with concerts, tribute acts, and themed parties. Over the years, the festival has hosted well-known names from the Italian music, dance, and reggae scenes, earning a reputation as one of the most popular summer events south of Turin.

Food, families, and fun

The beating heart of the FME is its large gastronomic area, active throughout the evenings: sandwiches, agnolotti, fried fish and vegetables, cured meats, desserts, craft beer, and cocktails. There is also a funfair and a dedicated children's area, making the event perfect for families and young people. Admission is free, and to facilitate access to the quarry area, free shuttle services are often provided.
