Maranello in Spring: the city blooms again

Maranello in Spring is the event that, with the arrival of good weather, transforms the center of Maranello into a large festival of flowers, flavors, art, and engines. Promoted by the Municipality of Maranello together with the Maranello Terra del Mito Consortium, the event takes place over a weekend in April and attracts families, curious visitors, and enthusiasts from all over the province of Modena and Emilia-Romagna.

The flower market and outdoor shopping

The beating heart of the event is the flower market, set up in Piazza Libertà, with the exhibition and sale of flowers and plants, garden items and equipment, local crafts, and zero-kilometer typical products. Along Via Claudia and Via Nazionale, outdoor shopping unfolds with merchants' stalls, while in Via Stradi, the art and craft market comes to life, dedicated to handmade creations and small crafts.

Taste, music, and entertainment

The gastronomic dimension is a protagonist with stands from local associations and the Food Area curated by the National Alpini Association, where you can taste Emilian excellences such as gnocco fritto, tigelle, borlenghi, and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar, with attention also to celiac visitors thanks to the gluten-free area. Musical entertainment is provided by DJ Ans, while for the little ones there are games, creative workshops, and dedicated spaces.

Art and special initiatives

Among the most evocative offerings is RotondArte, an "en plein air" painting exhibition hosted in the Cavallino Rotunda, where artists paint spring landscapes live. The Mabic Library offers read-aloud sessions for children and initiatives dedicated to greenery, recycling, and outdoor life, confirming the family-friendly and participatory nature of the festival.

Engines, the soul of Maranello

The automotive vocation of the Prancing Horse city could not be missing: the festival hosts car exhibitions, from vintage cars to sports cars, up to events "in anticipation" of the major competitions in the area with the exhibition of rally cars on Via Nazionale. A combination that perfectly tells the spirit of Maranello, where popular tradition and the myth of engines coexist in harmony.

With free admission and a format that combines markets, gastronomy, culture, and entertainment, Maranello in Primavera has become one of the most anticipated events in the Municipality's calendar, capable of enhancing the historic center and celebrating together the identity of the Modenese territory and the arrival of spring.
