The Malgalonga di Fosse is the food and wine walk of the hamlet of Fosse, in Sant'Anna d'Alfaedo in the province of Verona, in the heart of the Lessinia plateau. The route unfolds at the foot of Corno d'Aquilio, amidst mountain huts, pastures, and characteristic mountain springs, offering suggestive views of the Veronese valleys.
Gastronomic Stops Among the Mountain Huts
The heart of the event lies in the stops along the route, where you can taste the traditional dishes of Lessinia prepared in the mountain huts. The stars are the 'gnocchi de malga di Fosse', alpine cheeses, and mountain specialties, in an experience that combines outdoor activity and gastronomic culture. Music and entertainment accompany the walkers at each stop.
A Community Celebration
Organized by the Comitato Fosseland, the Malgalonga has become one of the most beloved summer events in Lessinia, attracting walkers and food lovers from all over the province of Verona. Departure times and group divisions are announced a few days before the event to best manage the flow along the trails.
Malgalonga di Fosse — edition 2026
The 2026 edition, the 16th, will be held on Sunday, June 28, with departure from Campeto di Fosse. The route winds through the mountain huts and landscapes of Lessinia at the foot of Corno d'Aquilio, with gastronomic stops dedicated to mountain dishes and 'gnocchi de malga'. Organized by the Comitato Fosseland. Departure times and group divisions will be communicated via email a few days prior.

The day includes a food and wine walk starting from Campeto di Fosse with stops along the route through the Lessinia mountain huts:
- Meeting and group departures (times to be communicated via email a few days before the event)
- Gastronomic stops in the mountain huts with 'gnocchi de malga di Fosse', alpine cheeses, and typical mountain dishes
- Music and entertainment along the way
Registration opens on Sunday, May 17, during the event "Se Fosse Pietra"; after this date, via bank transfer, until places are filled.

How to Get There
Fosse is a hamlet of Sant'Anna d'Alfaedo, on the Lessinia plateau, reachable by car from Verona along the SP12 (approx. 40 km). Meeting point at Campeto di Fosse. It is not served by train; the nearest airport is Verona Villafranca.
