The Fiera Regionale del Tartufo Veneto (Veneto Regional Truffle Fair) takes place in Ferrara di Monte Baldo, a municipality in the province of Verona nestled in the Monte Baldo massif, between Lake Garda and the Adige Valley. The event was created to promote a niche but high-quality product: the truffle that grows in the woods of Monte Baldo, defined as the black gold of the mountain.
Tastings, conferences, and culture
For four days, the village comes alive with tastings of truffle dishes, technical conferences on sustainable cultivation and the truffle supply chain, search demonstrations with trained dogs, and cultural moments. The fair is organised in collaboration with ethical truffle hunters from Monte Baldo, the Custodians of the Monte Baldo Truffle, and Veneto truffle associations, signifying a growing territorial network around this product.
A village to discover
The fair is also an opportunity to discover Ferrara di Monte Baldo and its extraordinary natural setting: guided hikes in the woods, activities dedicated to nature and children, and during summer evenings, the famous 'dinners under the stars' that combine mountain hut cuisine with astronomical observation at the Monte Baldo Observatory. An event that unites gastronomy, environment, and the identity of the Venetian mountains.
Fiera del Tartufo Veneto — edition 2026
The second edition of the Fiera Regionale del Tartufo Veneto is scheduled in Ferrara di Monte Baldo from July 17-20, 2026. Four days dedicated to the Baldo truffle with tastings, technical conferences on cultivation and the supply chain, truffle hunting demonstrations with dogs, workshops for children, and guided hikes in the woods. The event is organised in collaboration with the Ethical Truffle Hunters Association of Ferrara di Monte Baldo, the Custodians of the Monte Baldo Truffle, and the truffle associations of the Veneto region.

How to get there
Ferrara di Monte Baldo can be reached by car from Caprino Veronese, taking the Monte Baldo road; motorway exit A22 Affi. From Lake Garda, ascend from the Verona side. Appropriate mountain clothing is recommended, even in summer.
