A year of appointments in the neighborhoods

In 2026, the campaign promoted by AMA with Rai's TGR Lazio maintains the tight pace consolidated in previous years: almost every weekend, a new rotation of districts welcomes the mobile ecological stations. The hours remain unchanged - from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM - and the service is always free and without reservation.

The calendar for the first seven months has progressively covered all fifteen districts of Rome Capital, with a number of stations varying between ten and twenty per weekend. The materials dropped off are sorted by type directly at the station and sent to the recovery chains.

Since the addresses change with every appointment, AMA and Rome Capital invite you to consult the updated map of the stations published in the days immediately preceding. The fixed collection centers remain regularly open even during the campaign weekends.

Hours

All stations are active from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, both Saturday and Sunday.

Materials accepted

• Bulky waste (sofas, mattresses, furniture)
• Wood and metal
• WEEE - electrical and electronic equipment
• Used clothing: garments, coats, outerwear
• Textile products: fabrics, blankets, curtains, upholstery
• Accessories: shoes, bags, backpacks, hats, scarves, gloves
• Garden waste and prunings: only on Saturdays

Excluded materials

Paints, batteries, and lead-acid batteries are not accepted at mobile stations and must be taken to fixed AMA collection centers.

Where and when

Mobile collection points are set up on a rotating basis in the fifteen districts of Rome Capital, generally on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The list of addresses changes with each appointment and is published on the Rome Capital website and on amaroma.it in the preceding days.

Costs

The service is completely free for citizens residing in Rome. No reservation is required: simply show up during opening hours with the materials to be dropped off.

What to bring and what not

You can drop off bulky waste, wood, metal, WEEE, used clothing, textiles, and accessories; garden waste and prunings only on Saturdays. We do not accept paints, batteries, and lead-acid batteries, which must be delivered to AMA collection centers, which are regularly open even during the campaign days.

How to get there

Each station is designed to be reachable on foot from the reference neighborhood; for bulky materials, a car is obviously recommended. Rome is served by metro lines A, B, B1, and C, regional railways, and a dense network of ATAC buses.

Alternatives
