The Librizzi City Slalom

The Librizzi City Slalom is a slalom car race held in the municipality of Librizzi, a small village in the Nebrodi mountains in the province of Messina, Sicily. The competition takes place along a technical and spectacular route carved out of Provincial Road 126, on the stretch connecting the Colla and Murnari districts—a ribbon of asphalt winding through the hairpin turns and landscapes of the Nebrodi hinterland.

A young race that has already become a benchmark

Founded in 2023, the event has grown rapidly to become a highly anticipated fixture in the Sicilian motorsport calendar. Organized by the Librizzi ASD association, the race combines a passion for engines with the promotion of a territory of great scenic beauty, attracting drivers, teams, and fans from all over Sicily and Southern Italy.

Titles and championships

The Librizzi City Slalom is a sporting event of significant value, valid for several titles:

• South Trophy – ACI Sport 5th Zone Slalom Italian Cup
• Sicilian Slalom Championship (ACI Sport Sicily Delegation)
• Nebrodi Trophy, for which it serves as one of the opening rounds

The starting grid features cars from numerous classes and groups, ranging from production-based sedans to agile single-seaters and two-seaters like the Radicals, the true stars of the overall standings.

MotorFest & Sapori

The event is about more than just sport: the program includes the MotorFest & Sapori initiative, an evening that weaves together a love for engines with music and tastings of typical Nebrodi products. Supported by the Regional Department of Tourism, Sport and Entertainment, the event brings the village of Librizzi to life, involving residents and visitors in a festive atmosphere.
