Lavanda in Fiore a Mombaroccio is one of the most evocative summer events in the Municipality of Mombaroccio, in the Province of Pesaro and Urbino, in the heart of the Marche region. Every year, between the end of June and the beginning of July, the lavender fields of the "L'Infinito" Agricultural Company reach full bloom and dye the gentle hills surrounding the ancient medieval village purple, creating a fragrant and picturesque landscape that attracts visitors from all over the region.

An event immersed in the Bosco del Beato Sante

The heart of the event is the Bosco del Beato Sante, a natural oasis adjacent to the Franciscan Sanctuary of the same name. Through a comfortable path starting from the Sanctuary, you can reach the lavender fields, where you can walk among the flowering rows, take photographs, and breathe in the unmistakable scent of the plant. Admission is free and the event is designed to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace, outdoors, even with children.

The event's activities

During the days, usually open from morning to evening, numerous proposals related to the territory and nature alternate:

• Demonstrations of lavender distillation and explanation of its use in cosmetics and herbal medicine;
• Market of artistic crafts and local typical products;
• Guided nature walks within the woods;
• Guided tours of the Sanctuary of Beato Sante and the Art Gallery;
• meetings and workshops on environmental themes, educational activities, and moments dedicated to families.

The event, promoted by Pro Loco Mombaroccio APS in collaboration with the "L'Infinito" Agricultural Company, combines the enhancement of the lavender agricultural landscape with the discovery of the historical and spiritual heritage of Beato Sante. It is an opportunity to discover one of the most authentic corners of the Marche, where lavender cultivation intertwines with the history of the village of Mombaroccio, recognized for its walls and its museums. An event that well represents the link between the local community, the environment, and peasant tradition.
